And the Gyaan Vaani begins...

As I did not see my roll number in the mains result I thought the dream was over. But then I started thinking
about the stuffs that I did not do and those who have got selected did and the first point that came in my mind was making notes from THE HINDU. I did read HINDU daily but failed to make notes and various funny reasons for not making them were

1. I will save the headlines and later I will search the articles using them
2. Ek baar padh liya toh mujhe yaad rahega!!
3. Baad main karunga jab sahi time aayega...

Due to this following things happened:

1. As important points had not been saved I had to read whole articles and ultimately I did not read them as it was time consuming
2. was not able to make any use of the editorials read as I had forgotten them
3. Some questions were directly asked from THE HINDU and if I had revised from those articles then answer quality would have been better
4. I felt jealous of my friends who had made notes and did not share them with me!!!

So I have decided to make notes everyday from the HINDU and share it with you all. Believe me if you are a serious player then you need to keep track of these notes as finally you need them to clear the mains exam. This stuff will be useful in prelims also as the GK stuff shared can be asked in Paper 1 and previous years many questions have been there which were relevant to recent month's news

The blog will consist of

1. Daily news analysis (on the same day or the day after). Daily news analysis will consist of:
   a. Important articles relevant to the syllabus
   b. Only the important points from the articles so that in the net revision would be faster
   c. Some GK stuff that is mentioned in the articles
2. after 14 days gap the articles will be categorised under various headings such as Governance, Economics, S and T, International...
3. Some other materials relevant to exam

How the readers can contribute:

1. If any article is missed please mention in the comments
2. Share your opinions and GYAAN
3. share stuff useful for exam by mailing to id iasgyaanvaani@gmail.com

I hope my efforts would bring success to many and together we may be able to increase our GYAAN..
